Casa Fermín, as its owners (Luc and Hilde) call it, is a house with tradition. Nestled in the Sierra de Riogordo, in the interior of Malaga, it is about the reform of an old and collegiate house that they decided to buy attached to their main house.
From the start, it is sought that it does not lose its essence, that it maintains its natural and rural character, but that it is wrapped in the latest thermal insulation systems and facilities that guarantee energy efficiency.
A legalization project is developed and later a total oxidation treatment plant is installed to control discharges.
The reform entails a rearrangement of the interior spaces into two rooms, a living area and a rest area. A façade insulation system with the SATE system is used in the bedroom area and interior linings in the living-dining room area. To guarantee energy savings, the house is equipped with an aerothermal system connected to underfloor heating and polyurethane is projected on the roof.
